MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

DISNEY ON ICE

Grandma took us to the Disney Princess on Ice show. We had a great time and Addi loved everything about it. Thanks for the fun day!

Visit from Grandma and Grandpa

Brandon's parents came and visited for six days last month. We loved having them here and Addison loved it as well. We were glad they could come and look forward to many more visits.

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY!

ADDI turned four last month. She had two birthday celebrations and now she asks us when she is going to be five.

Brandon and I bought her a big girl bike and she has put lots of miles on it already. She loved it and caught on pretty quick.

She loved her presents and was so excited to open the baby since that was what she had wished for. How did we know!!

The greatest part was that she was able to celebrate with both grandparents. We loved having them both their and we are so thankful for the love and support they give to our family.

Fun with Fishing

Since March of this year Addi has asked to go fishing with her dad. We took her to a local trout farm and did some fishing.

She was pretty excited until she saw how slimy and squirmy they were. We had a good time and they made a delicious meal.

After waiting long enough, we are proud to announce that we will be having another girl in February next year. Everyone is well and we are preparing to have another addition to the family.

It's the most beautiful time of the year!

Yesterday for FHE we went to the canyon and took some pictures with all the pretty scenery. Addi loved walking around and bringing home some colored leaves. We had a great time and hope to get back up there before the rain and snow help them all fall down.

Happy 4th!

We had a great weekend with family and friends. On Friday, the third we put on our cowboy boots and headed to Oakley Utah for the rodeo. It was really fun and we had a good time.

We were so proud that we had to capture our "patriotic daughter" during the national anthem. Pretty cute huh?

We did the norm on the 4th. We had a barbeque and lit fireworks. Addi like the "Magic Wand" sparklers the best.

We had some friends call on Monday and ask if we wanted to join them at the Dinosaur Park in Ogden. Addi and Isaac (their little boy) had fun seeing each other and looking at the dinosaurs. We were just glad to have something fun to do with friends that day.

It was all fun and games until Addi got her head stuck! As you can see, she was not too happy about that, but Daddy rescued her and she was back playing within two minutes.

Let's catch up!!

So much has happened with us in the last three weeks and I haven't had anytime to update so here is what has been going on with us . . .

The long awaited day arrived and Brandon came home on May 9th.  He was delayed three hours which was the longest three hours in the whole year and 4 days he was gone.  We were so excited to see him and Addi didn't let him out of her sight for the next 24 hours.  It was very cute!!

We headed on a road trip to see Brandon's family.  We stopped in Boise for a few days with Brandon's sister and her family and made our way to Oregon and spent five days with his folks. We went to the coast one day.  It was so fun to see them and it made it even better to have all of us there this time.

We must have been crazy because we decided to drive 13 hours down the coast and take Addi to Disneyland for one day.  We drove the following day 11 hours to come home.  SHE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!  That made all our craziness worth it.  We had a great time and she was more interested in seeing the characters than any of the rides.  She was a trooper and she even kind of like Matterhorn.  We had a great time.  She was out like a light the minute we got into the car.

We had to hurry home from our trip because we BOUGHT A HOUSE.  We closed last week and got the keys on Friday.  We are excited and stressed all in one package.  We are looking forward to having our own place, but man it is so much work.  We love it though and with a little of our touch it will feel like home soon.

Last, but certainly not least I am an aunt again.  My brother's wife had the cutest little baby girl on Saturday and they are all doing well.  Emery loves her aunt Tiff the best already.  She was trained well.

The countdown begins

Since the time is drawing near for Brandon to come home, I thought it would be appropriate to make a chain with Addi.  She thought it was really cool and she takes one link off each morning.  She knows that when the last orange ring is left, Daddy will be home.  MAY 9th.

HAPPY EASTER!

Happy Easter to everyone.  We got dressed up and went to a lovely dinner with Grandma Joyce.  As you can tell, Addi was not too happy about the bunny, but by the time he was ready to leave she was okay with him.  It was a wonderful day and we enjoyed time with our family.
